Dr. Ross grew up in Eastlake, Ohio and is a 2006 graduate of Eastlake North High School. From 6 to 18 years of age she competed in gymnastics as a member of Eastlake Gymnastics and North H.S. teams. Her interest in the medical profession began during her gymnastic experiences. Like many others, the site of blood and needles discouraged her from pursuing a medical career until she learned there were alternative ways to help heal patients in need. At age 14 she injured her knees and was told she had to have surgery on both. In pursuing other options, she saw a physical therapist, sports trainer and a chiropractor. After 6-8 months of intense therapy, modalities and manipulation, there wasn’t a need for surgery. That was the pivotal moment she decided to learn and practice holistic medicine.
Dr. Ross earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Toledo, 2011. She went on to New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York, receiving her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2015. Her love for gymnastics continued while obtaining her doctorate through coaching at a local dance studio and teaching acro dance. Dr. Ross has received post doctorate training in treating pregnant women and pediatric adjusting.
Dr. Ross joined Aligned Chiropractic in May 2016 and has been loving the opportunity to work with patients and staff since her first day! She exudes energy and compassion while giving patients options for their wellness with surgical methodology being the last option. Dr. Ross wants to ensure that all other options are exhausted before surgical intervention is considered. When not working at Aligned Chiropractic, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with her adorable niece (Kennedy), family and friends. She also continues to coach gymnastics at Lakeshore Gymnastics and Dance. Her #1 guilty pleasure is shopping and she has a slight obsession with tree frogs.
