Dr. Wirick was born in Canton, Ohio where he attended Perry High School. During that time, he participated in the National Honor Society and played football, eventually earning all-state honors. He proceeded to Wittenberg University to continue his education, where he majored in biology and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He also spent time at Kent State University, Stark Campus, to attain further education prior to attending the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois for his post-graduate studies. Dr. Wirick received a bachelor’s degree in human biology and his doctorate in chiropractic. After graduating, he received his Ohio State Chiropractic License and began practicing in Warrensville Heights, Ohio for 6 years. He is a practicing partner with Dr. Timothy Moore at Aligned Chiropractic and Physical Rehabilitation.
Dr. Wirick believes in maintaining a proper doctor-patient relationship in order to provide a positive environment with each individual. Empathy and understanding are important attributes to approaching each individual’s needs and he makes every effort to promote a healthy road to recovery. Dr. Wirick focuses on active-based rehabilitation to complement the chiropractic manipulative technique. He also emphasizes hands-on stretching and kinesiotaping techniques to promote soft tissue correction and biomechanical improvement. He is educated and experienced in physical therapy, postural modification techniques, and ergonomic correction, as well as x-ray procedures/diagnosis, nutrition/supplementation, and sports injury rehabilitation. Dr. Wirick is certified in Ohio worker’s compensation and has had extensive exposure to industrial injuries as well as personal injury cases.
